Your coach and mentor in leadership

Our mission is to stand by you on the path

“Be the change
you want to see
in the world.”

— Mahatma Gandhi

It is the best interest of everybody around you that you become better.  Your wife, your husband, your parents, your children, your associates, your boss; they all need you to become better.  Become the best you can!  What is best for you?  Only you can know that.  But how can you do that when you are busy with the life of our modern society trying to fulfill the immediate needs around you?   How can you work out today to be healthier tomorrow?  How can you study today to improve your expertise tomorrow?  How can you exercise love today to have better relationships tomorrow?  How can you pray today to be closer to God tomorrow?  How can you get experience today to be a better leader tomorrow?  Do you know where you stand today? Do you know what to do?  Do you have the discipline to do what is needed to become a better father, spouse, boss, employee tomorrow?  Our horse assisted training and coaching programs will assist you in the assessment, planning, and the implementation process.

58 % of managers have never had formal leadership training (Gallup).  That leaves you with a large portion of guess work and trial and error.  To become a better leader, you will have to develop skills that you do not even know today that exist.  Those are the things you don’t know that you do not know – unconscious incompetence.  To be able to develop a skill in the first place, you have to know that you do not know it – conscious incompetence.  Only then can you start working on it, develop it and reach the state when you know that you know it and you can consciously perform it – conscious competence.  Once you practiced it, perfected and polished it, it becomes natural when you do not have to consciously know that you know it – unconscious competence.

When you face a problem you take a tool from your arsenal of unconscious competencies, and you apply it.  This is what happens in most situations of life.  Off course if the problem is important enough for you and you have enough time, energy and resources, you will assess the problem, research the topic, get expert advice, work out solution options, set up a decision making matrix and work out the optimal solution.  That is an ideal case and you should practice it as many times as you can.  But what happens in a battle situation, when you have to decide on the spur of the moment, when you are firefighting?  That is when only what is in you can come out of you.  People say, it is not the big things that shatter a relationship, it is the small things.  We spend enough conscious time with the big things and find the best answer to the question.  But when it comes to the small things in rush hour, that is when your unconscious competence must be in place.

Discover your unconscious incompetences and
convert them into consciuos competences

“Choose a challenge instead of competence.”

— Eleanor Roosevelt

Treat yourself to a life changing experience

“The man that can lead
a horse can
also lead people.”

— Alexander the Great

Interacting with horses will show you where you stand, put you on a fast development path and assist you in reaching unconscious competence faster than any other training method.  There is no general way to become better.  Your life, your situation, your path is unique.  Only you can find out what that is for you.   This is what happens to you around our horses: real life situations based on real relationships resulting in real development.  Horses are not a solution for everything.  However, if you want to develop your people skills, your emotional intelligence, or your relationships and you results rate then horses might be an ideal way for you.
